The Vivaldi coalition is nearing its end, and for some of its members, it’s time to pack up.
François Bailly, the French-speaking spokesperson for Alexander De Croo, has decided to hang up his hat at the RTL Group headquarters. Starting from mid-October, he will be the "Head of News" at RTL Info. "François Bailly will be tasked with assisting the Director of News in reflecting on and developing the strategy for the news division," the company said in a statement.
At 39 years old and a father of two, François Bailly is a graduate in journalism and communication from the Université libre de Bruxelles. He was the editor-in-chief of L'Echo before joining Prime Minister Alexander De Croo in 2021 as a spokesperson and political advisor.
Isn't the separation of powers wonderful? The news will be even more neutral now. There are no conflicts of interest, after all.
