Although this letter was published on Joe Biden's official Twitter account, there are serious doubts about its authenticity. First of all, the letter is not written on official White House letterhead, which is quite unusual for a presidential announcement. Additionally, the signature at the bottom of the letter does not match Biden's known signature. So, who wrote this letter? Has Joe Biden been ousted? By whom?

"Dear Fellow Americans,
Over the past three and a half years, we have made significant progress as a Nation.
Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. We have made historic investments in rebuilding our Nation, reducing prescription drug costs for seniors, and expanding affordable healthcare to a record number of Americans. We have provided essential care to a million veterans exposed to toxic substances. We have passed the first major gun safety law in 30 years. We have appointed the first Black woman to the Supreme Court. And we have enacted the most significant climate legislation in the world’s history. America has never been better positioned to lead than it is today.
I know that none of this would have been possible without you, the American people. Together, we have overcome a century-long pandemic and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We have protected and preserved our democracy. And we have revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world.
It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while my intention was to seek a new term, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to step down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.
I will address the Nation in more detail later this week about my decision.
For now, allow me to express my deepest gratitude to all those who worked so hard to see my re-election. I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work. And let me express my sincere gratitude to the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me.
I believe today what I have always believed: that there is nothing America cannot do — when we do it together. We just need to remember that we are the United States of America."
